Course Goal / Objective

To gain students skills in determination of primary necessities of individuals living in rural areas, preparation of programs in accordance with these necessities, and transmission of this new information and techniques through appropriate methods.

The history of agricultural extension; definition, and philosophy; agricultural extension/consulting approaches and systems; goal-oriented program planning; adult education; determination of necessities ; moderation; individual methods; Group methods;mass publication methods

LO01 Is able to determine the necessities of individuals living in rural areas and organizing appropriate programs according to these necessities.
LO02 Is able to transfer new techniques and information within the scope of adult education (individual, group and mass) using different methods.

LO04 Knows different agricultural extension methods and concultancy approaches carried out in the world and in Turkey, and can put them into practice
