Course Goal / Objective

Introduce students the discipline of urban design in this field, explaining fundamental issues and current approaches to adopt the principles of the design of urban spaces in this context, urban planning and design techniques used in our world and in our country, and the solution to traffic problems and learning relations.

Course Content

Urban planning dicipline, recent developments and techniques in the field of urban planning and design, techniques used in the World and Turkey for solving traffic problems. Open and green space determination and classification in the urban scale, common standards in Turkey and the World, and relevant regulations.
