Course Goal / Objective

The goals of this course are to (a) improve an understanding of social psychological explanations for social influence and interaction and to (b) to improve an understanding of the research methodologies commonly used to understand social influence and interaction.

Course Content

This course offers a broad introduction to social psychology, the scientific study of human social influence and interaction. We will explore the various ways people think about, affect, and relate to one another. The course will cover topics such as the research in social psychology, group influences on person behavior, persuasion, attitudes, social cognition and interpersonal relationships etc..

LO11 It can analyze the social and psychological reasons of conformity and obedience.

LO13 The causal explanation of the behavior can in terms of attribution theories.

LO15 Can interpret of macro and meso environment effects on the individuals.
