Course Goal / Objective

Enable students prepare preservice teachers to teach effectively in todays multicultural classroom context by raising their cultural and social awareness.Helping teacher candidates to understand the information about the importance given to the child in various organs of society, such as family, media, school, arts or social services.

Course Content

Concepts related to culture and education, critical perspective issues on culture and education, ethical and multicultural practice in early childhood education,The importance given to the child in society, the factors affecting the child's mental health in the society; Information about children with special problems in our society and knowledge and skills to solve these children's problems
