Course Goal / Objective
To provide the basic concepts and applications of Coastal Zone Management.
Course Content
The content and the development of coastal zone management, Physical characteristics of the coast, Coastal ecosystems and Mediterranean coastal habitats, Requirement of the use and protection of the coasts, Contradictions in terms of national and regional scale coastal protection, Coastal management tools and techniques, National and international legislation.
