Course Goal / Objective
Understanding of nutrient cycling in different terrestrial ecosystems
Course Content
This course covers following topics: i) nutrient cycling in humid-cold areas, ii) nutrient cycling in humid-temperate areas, iii) nutrient cycling in humid-warm areas, iv) adaptation of natural vegetation/crop plants in acis soils, v) nutrient cycling in semi-humid/semi-arid/arid areas, vi) nutrient cycling in alkaline soils, vii) nutrient cycling under irrigation, and viii) nutrient cycling under saline conditions
