Course Goal / Objective

Introduces the techniques ,softwares and algorithms used in GIS applications orientated in landscape planning . it also contains developing strategies in landscape planning, image processing techniques, GIS environment and terminology.

Course Content

map projections needed in landscaping , interpretation of maps, topographical maps , cartography, georeferenced data, GPS, spatial analysis (point pattern, network, surface, interpolation, single layer, multi layer and overlay analysis) spatial modelling and their advanced practical applications.
