Course Goal / Objective

Introduction of techniques ,softwares and algorithms used in GIS applications in landscape planning. It also includes developing strategies in landscape planning, image processing techniques, GIS environment and terminology.

Course Content

map projections, interpretation of maps, topographic maps , cartography, georeferenced data, GPS, spatial analysis (point pattern, network, surface, interpolation, single layer, multi layer and overlay analysis) spatial modelling and practical applications.
