Course Goal / Objective
Enhancement of knowledge and development of skills on quantitative change detection approaches
Course Content
Remote sensing and GIS based change analyses based on, data provision and pre processing for change detection, bitemporal and multitemporal change analyses, hybrid and less frequently used techniques, acuracy assessment for change detection, advantages and disadvantages of change detection methods, cross-tabulation, ideal change detection approaches for different ecosystem types, interpretation of change information and its use for landscape planning.
