Course Goal / Objective

The main objective of the History of Science in Physics course is to explain to students how the historical, social and economic factors emerged and how science affects society.

Course Content

The birth of science. Science from the perspective of civilizations: Nile and Anatolian civilizations; Asian, Chinese, Indian, Roman, Greek civilizations.
