Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach basic sources which will be helpful for the studies of Old Turkish Literature.

Course Content

In this course the way and technics of academic research; choosing topic; reading and taking notes; finding sources; preparing thesis plan; defining the features supposed to be in this plan, checking the writing guide of the thesis, having ideas about encyclopedia, dictionary, literature history, catalog, and other sources which will be helpful for the studies of Old Turkish Literature, knowledge of bibliography, manuscripts and their characteristics, and the libraries which have manuscripts are treating.
