Course Goal / Objective
Substance that causes intoxication is to be found a dose-effect relationship
Course Content
Definition of forensic toxicology, postmortem forensic toxicology, human performance toxicology, forensic drug testing, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, methodologies (specimen preparation and methods of analysis), alcohols, central nervous system depressants, opioids, cocaine, marijuana, amphetamines/sympathomimetic amines, hallucinogens, therapeutic drugs, Carbon monoxide/cyanide, inhalants, metals and pesticide
