Course Goal / Objective

Information about the basic principles and contents of surgical diseases and nursing; provide practical skills in parallel nursing care with the nursing process; to provide the ability to analyze surgical diseases nursing and growing knowledge.

Course Content

Homeostasis, definition of surgery and surgical conditions, effects of surgery on patient, acid-base balance and imbalance, shock, bleeding and blood transfusion, wounds and nursing care,surgical infections, outpatient surgery, preoperative patient care, surgical feeding, breast surgery and nursing care, endoscopic surgery and nursing approaches
