Course Goal / Objective
Introduction of contemporary approaches, and administrative tools for wise management of rural and urban landscapes. Helping students to gain an overview for sustainable management of limited sources of landscapes threatened by human impact.

Content and basics of landscape management Eco-cities and green space management Interrelation between plant cover and water resources in urban green space management. Storm water management, water harvesting and artificial wetlands Wetland management Techniques and tools in coastal zone management Ecosystem dimension in forest management (Functional Forest Management) Methodological approach to protected area management
