Course Goal / Objective

It shows that underground structures with different geological characteristics are determined by geophysical methods to store energy at underground.

Course Content

Underground energy storage, Energy sources that can be stored underground, Suitable geological environments can be stored underground; Structural properties of underground storage medium, Abandoned oil and gas wells, Aquifers, Salt domes, Determination of geological storage areas underground by geophysical methods, Application of seismic method, application of gravity method, application of magnetic methods, application and application of well logs.
