Course Goal / Objective
Understand Difference between Parametric and Nonparametric Statistical Procedures.
Course Content
Basic Concepts, Distinguish parametric and nonparametric statistical procedures, One sample methods; Test of hypothesis and confidence interval for the median; Binomial test; Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Chi-Squre test, Two-Sample methods; The permutation test; Wilcoxon rank sum test; Mann- Whitney test and a confidence interval; k-sample permutation tests; The F statistics; The Kruskal-Wallis test; Paired comparisons.
