Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to describe the plant species with economic value.

Course Content

Vegetative and generative structures of plants, active ingredients, methods of traditional utilization; variation and selection in flowering plants; the naming of plant species, determining the relationships of plants. Vavilov's origin centers, native regions, top countries, global production concerning some selected economic species; fruits of temperate and warm regions, cereal grains, legumes; useful plant species, their conservation and using in the future.
