Course Goal / Objective
To have basic knowledge about scientific research methods and designing and conducting research process, to have responsibility of obeying scientific ethics principles in all their scientific activities
Course Content
Concept of science, knowledge, research, relation between research-science and philosophy, stage of research (problem definition, setting hypothesis, planning research) research variables, methods of collecting data, role of statistics in research, sampling methods, introducing basic statistical and econometric methods, concept of ethics and sciences ethics, principles of ethics in science, reasons for unethical conduct in scientific research, to prevent and to avoid unethical conduct
