Course Goal / Objective
Gaining conscioness about the importance of culture, communication and intercultural communication, Acquiring awareness about cultural differences by increasing theoretical knowledge.To enable students to discuss how to analyze the situation of intercultural communication and to acquire the knowledge in this regard and to gain skills to acquire communicative competence.
Course Content
The concepts of culture, communication and intercultural communication. The problems which interested by intercultural communication. Intercultural communication approaches. Cultural differences and the importance of cultural differences in communication. Attidutes and behaviours which obstructes to intercultural communication. Development of intercultural communication competence.
