Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is; To give basic information about the plants which are toxic to animals in the meadow-pasture vegetation, poisonous plant-animal relations and preventive measures against poisoning in the pasture.

Course Content

In this course; Poisonous plant species commonly found in meadow-pastures, principles of poisoning, factors affecting intoxication, symptoms of poisoning in grazing animals, principles of reducing animal losses caused by poisonous plants in meadow-pastures will be explained on the basis of current literature.
