Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to discuss and learn research methods used in weed science both in laboratory and field conditions

Course Content

Use of weed research methods in laboratory and field conditions of weed science will be examined To give few examples; Segetal flora measurement methods, the effects of ecological factors on weed development, the effects of weed, to determine the conditions of germination of seeds,determination of soil seed bank, relationship between weeds and crops and competition, bioassay, allelopathic measurement methods, to determine bioeffectiveness of herbicides, chromatographic studies.
