Course Goal / Objective

The course will mainly focus theoretically and practically on basic principles of hybridization studies in field crops, flowers in field crops, fertilization types, planting of seeds obtained through the emasculation, isolation and pollination techniques and growing the F1 plants

Course Content

The importance of hybridization in plant breeding, methods of hybridization used in plant breeding, hybridization techniques in self-pollinated field crops, application of peanuts and soy hybridization
