Course Goal / Objective

The course provides a broad introduction to the study of environmental politics, with a focus on environmental policy analysis and evaluation. In this course, theories and models of environmental policy processes, instruments used in environmental policy-making such as regulatory and market-based approaches, and frameworks to evaluate environmental policy will be discussed.
