Course Goal / Objective

The purposes of the course are to give Oral and Dental Health Technician students comprehensive knowledge on the workflow of orthodontics and to improve their skills on the subject by practical exercises, and to develop their skills on the subject

Course Content

The role of oral and dental health technician in orthodontic practice, Four handed dentistry, Instrument transfer, Basic materials, consumables and hand instruments used in orthodontics , Organizing of bonding/banding/rebonding/debonding tray, photographing trays. Contaminated areas, Medical waste management, Instrument management.
