Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce teacher candidates to the school and classroom environment and to prepare for teaching practices by giving first-hand the opportunity to observe the structure of the school, the educational background, and the elements that make up the school. In this course, it is aimed to give pre-service teachers the ability to report their observations by asking school and classroom atmosphere.
Course Content
Observing a day at the school of the teacher and a student, how the teacher organizes a lesson, dividing the lesson into stages, teaching methods and techniques, what kind of activities are used in the course, what the teacher does for the management of the course and the teacher for the control of the classroom, how the teacher finishes the lesson and observing how the student evaluates his / her work, examining the organizational structure of the school, how the school director performs his / her duties and the relations with the society in which the school belongs, preparing a portfolio that reflects the school experience.
