Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the students the methods of classical breeding in temperate climates and recent developments in this subject.

Course Content

Breeding of pome fruits, nuts, stone fruits and berry fruits with classical methods, recent findings on these subjects, protection of genetic resources in vivo and in vitro are examined in detail.
