Course Goal / Objective

Provide students to understand the basic design principles of buildings, to create agricultural building design projects and to evaluate the present design projects according to these principles.

Course Content

Planning the forms of agricultural settlements in the plant center, environmental and climatic conditions and their control in farm buildings, heat balance, planning and projecting of production structures such as dairy, beef, sheep and chicken housing planning and projecting of storage and protection structures, planning and projecting of manure management systems, preparation of quantity takeoff and cost estimating, preparation the examples of design projects relating to agricultural structures.
