Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the physical, human and economic characteristics of Turkey and to teach the importance of Turkey in the world.
Course Content
Location and position of Turkey geopolitical and geostrategic status of Turkey, mathematical location characteristics, special location characteristics (neighbors), country groups characteristics (political, military, economic, cultural organizations), physical properties of Turkey (climate, hydrographic characteristics, soil structure, vegetation), socioeconomic characteristics (population, settlement, agriculture, forestry, livestock, energy, industry, transportation, tourism).
