Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to give the students the role of biochemical reactions in order to sustain their vital activities.and their roles in plant production and the quality at molecular level using chemical and biological sciences.
Course Content
In this lecture, basic information on following topics is given: (i) pursuits, targets, history anda basic concepts of plant nutrition, (ii) roots, cell-wall, apoplast, (iii) uptake and radial movement of plant nutrients, (iv) xylem and phloem transports of plant nutrients, (v) photosynthesis and assimilate production, (vi) plant hormones, (vii) metabolisms and functions of plant nutrients, (viii) yield-laws and fertilizer requirement, and (ix) organic ve mineral fertilizers and application methods
