Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to make the Turkish teacher candidates understand the basic concepts of teaching process and teaching materials,comprehend the historical development of instructional technology, tools and materials, to understand the relationship between learning theories and changing curriculums with teacher and student roles, to discuss the importance of communication process in instructional environments, to comprehend the types of instructional materials and materials, to comprehend the principles of designing and preparing instructional materials,develop the skills of preparing and presenting materials in accordance with the chosen topics and gains in Turkish education.

Course Content

Basic concepts related to teaching process and teaching materials, historical development of teaching tools and materials,student-teacher roles changing with the reflection of different learning theories on curriculums, communication process in instructional environments, tools and materials used, importance of using teaching tools and materials in Turkish education, preparing instructional material, designing principles and evaluation,preparing and presenting materials according to the chosen topic and achievements.,
