Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to make students aware of the importance of identifying and elimination of misconceptions in science teaching and to learn the ways of dealing with misconceptions through activities.

What is misconception, misconception examples in science, sources of misconceptions, concept teaching and conceptual change, methods used to identify and eliminate misconceptions, activities to elicit and remedy misconceptions
