Course Goal / Objective

Basic concepts and arguments of the approaches and theories examined are put forward, the historical, cultural and intellectual contexts in which theories are produced are tried to be clarified

Course Content

Critical Theory / Frankfurt School, critical political economy approach, semiotics, tradition of cultural studies, feminist approaches, new media and postmodernism-media relations will be discussed.
