Course Goal / Objective

Gaining conscioness about the importance of culture, communication and popular culture, Acquiring awareness about popular cultural phenomenas by increasing theoretical knowledge.To enable students to discuss how to analyze the situation of popular culture and relationships with media with the political and social dimensions. and to acquire the knowledge in this regard and to gain skills to acquire communicative competence.

Course Content

The concepts of popular culture, mass culture and culture industry and the relation ship of this concepts with media.
