Course Goal / Objective
Enable teacher candidates to understand the theoretical foundations of the inquiry-based learning approach and to understand the benefits of inquiry-based learning which is parallel to contemporary and constructivist approaches to children and teachers, to help them gain experience in how to plan inquiry-based learning processes.
Course Content
Theoretical background of inquiry based learning approach, stages of inquiry based learning, achievements of learners in inquiry based learning approach, role of teacher in inquiry based learning approach, planning and application of inquiry based learning processes.
