Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to define the basic elements of art and design and improve the skills of students in this area. Students gain a vision and a point of view about art in this course.

Course Content

Basic Design II is based on the issues of color, texture, contrast. This course includes theoretical and practical studies in the context of these issues.

1 The basic terms of basic art education. Visual Art Elements: line, color, shape, form, texture, tone / value, range / space. Principles of Visual Art: balance, rhythm, movement, contrast, unity, dominant, motif. Conducting research on the subject.
2 Contrast, Rhythm, Balance in visual expression. Collage Techniques. Color, texture, shape, size, range, tone, etc.. contrasts. Contrast Relations visual impact. The unity of opposites. Contrast-based values and principles of supervision, light-dark, more or less, large and small, square-round, heavy-light, etc.. Project. Examination of the sample images. Preparation of drawing tools and supplies.
3 Shape. Finding the Shape. Rhythm and balance of visual expression. Full repetition, Spaced repetition, Changing Repetition. Balance. Symmetrical Balance, Asymmetrical Balance. Form, color, movement, light-dark, more or less, violent-nonviolent, moving-still, large and small, near and far, such as the provision of the balance of contrast. Project.
