Course Goal / Objective
This course seeks to provide students with skills and knowledge in measurement and assessment. It provides application skills in designing and developing assessment instruments including performance, analyzing tests, and using the results to guide instructional decision-making in grades K-12 and to improve student learning
Course Content
This course include the importance of measurement and evaluation in education, basic concepts of measurement and evaluation, validity, reliability and usefulness in measurement, test plan, traditional and alternative measurement tools and techniques, features of measurement tools and techniques, basic statistical operations on measurement results, developing various measurement tools used in education, and classroom assessment and grading.
