Course Goal / Objective
Students get the fundamental knowledge about development of male and female reproductive organs, their anatomy and physiology, formation of pregnancy with physiologic varieties starting from intra uterine period
Course Content
Factors affecting the health of women, anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system,physiology of pregnancy, the mothers physiology in pregnancy, prenatal care, increasing the health level of the mother and fetus during pregnancy, genetic counseling, medication used during pregnancy and teratogenic effects, nutrition in pregnancy , the role of midwives in the antenatal period
