Course Goal / Objective

Understanding of the knowledge about principle of work and structures of asynchronous and synchronous machines.

Course Content

Structures, principle of work, kinds, losses and breakdowns of three phase asynchronous machines; Speed control, start up methods and equivalent circuits in three phase asynchronous machines; Principles of work and structures of the synchronous motors and generators.
