Course Goal / Objective

Developing social awareness and awareness among students with the projects to be realized within the scope of the course; The aim of the course is to develop skills such as cooperation, teamwork, responsibility, self-confidence and entrepreneurship.

Course Content

Gaining various skills in some aspects such as project development, participation in the panels and meetings, social responsibility, being volunteer in community works

1 Introduction of course content and review of concepts and problems related to society. To do research about the course.
2 Discussion of the areas in which community service practices can be and the importance of these practices. To make issue or problem detection.
3 Examining the achievements related to the subjects in the German program and how it can be reflected on the society as a prospective teacher. Projects development and discussion.
4 Examining the acquisitions related to the subjects of the other disciplines and synthesizing them with their own field to prepare a work for the society. Projects development and discussion.
5 Searching the nursing home, social service institutions, various foundations, kindergartens, health institutions, etc. Projects development and discussion, communicate with relevant institutions.
6 Redirecting of student groups to one of these institutions and discussing the issue. Working group to create and discussion, communicate with relevant institutions.
7 Presentation of the projects prepared by the student groups in detail in the classroom together with the task sharing. Project presentation.
