Course Goal / Objective

Aim of this couse is to introduce market failure s reasons with micro and macro economics tools.

Course Content

Introduction to public economics, Institutional Economics, Public Sector,its composition and its magnitudes, market economy, concept of efficiency and equity, cost and benefit analysis, market failure and roles of governments, public goods, externalities, naturel monopols, regulations and privatization, redistrubition policies, equity and efficiency
