Course Goal / Objective

The course's aim is to improve the theoretical, analytical and practical abilities of srudents in subjects related to money, banking, financial systems and central banking.

Definition of Money, functions, properties, Money, bank Money, Definitions of money supply,Monetary theory and policy definitions, monetary demand theories, keynesian System, Monetarist System,theories of Interest,Multipliers, Central banks General Scope, Balance of payment, Monetary Stability, Foreign Exchange targeting, Dollarization, Inflation,Monetary Transfer Mechanisms.

LO05 By the help of the money theories which are learned, students can observe national and international general economic developments, evaluate indicators, inference and assumes the future.
LO06 Defines money supply, money demand and interest theories.
LO07 Students obtain information about financial legislation and Central Bank of Turkish Republic law and then inference.
LO08 Gives opportunity to have a job in areas which require economic knowledge specialization in financial and real sector.
