Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach new students about the department itself, areas of work, and the general view of the courses to be tought during the course of the geology education

Course Content

Description of geology and geological engineering; the history of Earth Science and geological engineering; functions and areas of interest of geologist; basics of geology education; structure of the department; relationship between geology and other departments; the current and future position of geological engineering in the society; how to become of good geologist; areas of work for geologists.
