Course Goal / Objective

Study of the laws of the occurrence and movement of groundwater and definiton of its quantity and quality.

Course Content

Hydrologic cycle and distribution of ground water, Ground water flow properties and types of aquifers, Hydrogeologic environments and hydrogeologic characteristics of rocks, Fresh-salty water interference along coasts, Hydrogeochemistry are given as theoretical lecturing, problem solving and mapping.
