Course Goal / Objective
To design a piece of furniture through analyzing the principles of formation. To examine form-material, form-structure relations and present their effects on the design.
Course Content
Form, Formation properties in Furniture. Study of systematic formation in furniture design. Effects of surface enrichment study on forming in furniture design. Selecting an existing furniture design and analyzing its the formation properties. Analysis of the design and production stages of the selected product.
