Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to train of the students on the digestive systems of farm animals, the structure of the nutrients consumed, feeds and nutrient requirements of farm animals.

Course Content

Digestive system of farm animals, digestive fluids; İmportance, digestion and absorption of basic nutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and water); identification and digestibility of feeds; nutritional value of nutrients; ration preparation techniques are evaluated.
