Course Goal / Objective

Learns the importance and the techniques of increasing genetic yield performance on livestock.

Course Content

The purpose of animal breeding, Adaptation, Phenotypic variation, Heritability, Repeatibility, Selection, Breeding value, Generation interval, Crossing methods, Inbreeding, Heterosis, Modern breeding strategies.
