Course Goal / Objective

Machine Elements is a science dicipline that examines the principles of computing and shaping the elements forming machines. This course will be able to understand the basic static and strength encountered in the design, classification of machine elements according to their characteristics, calculate the strength of machine elements and is targeted to select the appropriate element.

Course Content

Definiton of machine, classification of machine elements, short materials information, short strength information, fastening elements, wedges, bolt-nut connections, pin, pivot pin connections, rivet stok, solder, welding, adhesive bonding, shaft and axis, bearings.
