Course Goal / Objective

The main objective of this course is to inform students on various basic concepts of communication, the types and also the skills on communication .

Course Content

In this course communication with its various aspects such as communication types, and communication skills are analyzed. From this point the course content includes definitions, components, types and skills of communication. Within this frame intrapersonal, interpersonal, corporate, and mass communication types are mentioned in coordination with verbal (written and oral) and nonverbal communication skills.

LO01 Learn various communication concepts, and basic communication models that are important for academic and business life, and interrelate them.
LO02 Understand communication types (intrapersonal, interpersonal, corporate and mass) and skills (verbal, nonverbal), and use them in a multidisiplinary perspective.
LO03 Define, analyze, solve, handle confidently communication misunderstandings faced in various communication environments with building skills in strategic thinking and express them.
LO04 Use and manage the outcomes of the course in an ethical perspective to use both in business and social settings.
