Course Goal / Objective
teaching general information about numerically controlled machines, gain knowledge and skill about using and programming of CNC machines.
Course Content
Coordinate systems at numerically controlled machines, tool motions and motion controls, driver systems. Hardware interface in numerically controlled machines. DNC, CNC, and AC technologies in numerical controls. Part programming in numerically controlled machine tools: Manual programming, computer aided programming, part programming applications.
