Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to equip the students with basic knowledge about heating-ventilation-air conditioning (HVAC) technology and to design the air conditioning system and its elements.

Course Content

In this course; basic concepts of air conditioning, air conditioning, psychrometric diagram, summer climate, winter climate, complete air conditioning system, evaporative air conditioning system, heat gain calculation, thermal comfort, interior and exterior design conditions are explained.
